Responsibilities
The primary job responsibilities of the Vehicle Service Technician are to stock
supplies in ambulances, update certifications on ambulances and other duties
as assigned.
- Responsible for cleanliness of company vehicle’s interior and exterior,
- restocking of ambulances to ensure response
- Responsible for ordering of ambulances according to shift start time
- Responsible for creating and executing a detail schedule to ensure
- company vehicles are detailed on a regular basis.
- Work with supervisor to ensure vehicle assignment is executed
- Check oxygen pressure levels in ambulances and replace if below
- policy minimums
- Receive shipments
- Coordinate and deliver supplies to inventory stations and/or vehicles
- to avoid shortages
- Assist crew chiefs with maintaining cleanliness and order of outlying
- stations
- Assist with vehicle licensing appointments as needed including but not
- limited to Weights and Measures, DMV, CHP, LEMSA Inspections, Med9 Radio Checks
- Relocation of ambulances to field locations and or stations
- Performs courier route if needed
- Reports deficiencies, safety violations, and hazards to the operations
Qualifications
- Satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company’s Driving - Policy. - 1 Year Commitment Required
- Current state driver’s license
Reports To: Fleet Manger
Compensation: Additional Hourly Compensation Based Upon Experience
